Dr. Hirsh Kaveeshvar
Background and Credentials
Dr. Kaveeshvar was born and raised in Detroit, MI. After obtaining his undergraduate and doctorate of osteopathic medicine degree at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI he returned home and completed his adult neurology residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
During his training he was drawn to the complexities of pain management and subsequently was accepted into the prestigious Wayne State University School of Medicine/Detroit Medical Center anesthesiology pain medicine program under the mentorship of Dr. Todd Lininger MD. To further enhance his clinical skillset Dr. Kaveeshvar then went to the world renowned Cedars-Sinai Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Institute for further training in Sports Neurology under the mentorship of Dr. Vernon Williams, MD.
Since arriving in Southern California Dr. Kaveeshvar has decided to stay in the region and serve his new found community. Dr. Kaveeshvar is one of the few neurologists that holds dual board accreditation in both neurology as well as pain medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Outside of work Dr. Kaveeshvar has interests in health, fitness, basketball, cooking and exploring his new home of Southern California.
